How to make Vietnamese Noodle Salad Hủ Tiếu Khô
This recipe yields 4 servings:
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb lean minced pork
- 1/2 package of tapioca noodles
- 1 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 cup chopped chives
- 1/2 bag (8 oz) mung bean sprouts
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 11/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Total Time: 35 min
- Prep: 25 min
- Cook: 10 min
Salad Dressing Prep:
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Noodle Prep:
- 1/2 package of tapioca noodles
- Cook in boiling water for 8 minutes
- Drain & rinse in cold water
- Set aside for noodles to dry
Minced Pork Prep:
- 1/2 lb minced pork
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Saute minced pork for 3-4 minutes or until fully cooked
- Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Set aside to cool
Instructions:
- Set aside your prepared dish of Noodle Salad (5 minutes before serving)
- Add cooked minced pork, noodles & salad dressing in a big mixing bowl
- Add 1 cup of chopped cilantro and 1 cup of chopped garlic chives
- Then add 1/2 cup of fried shallots and 1/2 bag (8 oz) mung bean sprouts
- Mix and toss with noodles.

some chili peppers?The most delicious noodles salad, I remember cooking this with Dr. Dane and to cook it at home is bringing the good memories!!!! Great recipes!!!
